Love Song (Revised & completed)

            (I)

Let us go then, You & I,
holding each other hand
to the place
filled with the aroma of
brewing coffee;
where your smile will
only belong to me.
Oh! Don't ask why?
Just come along.

In a place filled with people
satirizing on politics.

Do I dare?
To speak to you
or every minute
will become a struggle in itself.

(II)

You are sitting in front of me smiling widely
Fixing your hair repeatedly
Are you nervous?
Are you confused?
I can't guess if you are into me or…
Oh! How much I wish I could read your mind!

Do I dare?
With my Acne vulgaris face-
(Instead of perfectly makeup face)
With not so enticing dress-
(Instead of beautiful dresses)
With comfortable sports shoes-
(Instead of High heels)
With my oversized body-
(Instead of the perfectly shaped body)
To speak to you,
My heart intends.

In a place filled with people
satirizing on politics.

(III)

It feels like every eye in the room
staring the threads of my head till the toe of my foot.
(They will say: We are like two poles that never meet)
Will you listen to them?
Will their views affect you?
Oh! How much I wish I could reverse the time!

Reverse the time
When I was happily staring you from afar
When you were not aware of my existence;
Oh! How much I wish you have rejected this invitation!

As the clock is ticking away - tick tock tick,
I can hear people muttering more clearly
I took a sip of air,
and again
try to change my hopeless situation
to find all my efforts in vain
Oh! I wake up with the musical beat (Alarm!).

The End
